About Us
We are an established Oakland Township family community four miles north of the vibrant center of historic downtown Rochester.   The 202 homes that make up Oakland Farm today sit on an area of land that was originally purchased by William M. Axford for $1.25 an acre in 1836. Mr. Axford later became the first supervisor of Oakland Township.

In 1986, Foley Development of Rochester Hills purchased the land from Henry W. Axford and built the first model home. The first phase of the subdivision - lots #1-110 - was developed in 1989. In 1992 Oakland Farm hosted a Home-a-Rama event to showcase the beautiful and innovative new models. That same year the subdivision began to grow, as construction kicked off for the the second phase of lots #111-203.

Today, as the community around us evolves, our subdivision continues to grow into an active, resourceful, peaceful and friendly environment. We enjoy direct access to Bear Creek Park trails. Nearby are Foglers Greenhouse & Farm Market, cider mills, and close proximity to awarding winning schools, hospitals, shopping centers, sports venues, a prominent library, township parks, childcare and elder care facilities. Our homeowner's association is dedicated to making our subdivision an enjoyable, attractive place to live. We welcome your visit!
